Buick Terraza Engine

Buick manufactured the Terraza to jump into the minivan market. The engines used in the Terraza were pulled from existing inventory GM had to save on costs instead of doing a ground build. This is typical of most automobile manufacturers.

The Buick Terraza had 3 different engine options available:

3.5 L LX9 V6
3.9 L LZ9 V6
3.9 L LGD V6

The 3.5 liter engine was the base option for the Terraza. This engine offered good performance and fuel economy. The 3.9 liter had 2 different engines. The first was a non flex fuel and the other option allows the vehicle to use alternate if the driver so desires.
