Chrysler LHS Engine

Please complete the following fields to receive bids from vendors with a Chrysler LHS Engine for sale!

The Chrysler LHS first started into production in the year 1994-1997. The first generation LHS was recognized as the top notch Chrysler and came with many features which were optional on its lesser models. The Chrysler LHS first generation models included a 3.5 Liter EGJ 24-valve 214 hp V6 engine, side mirrors and trim, aluminum wheels, traction control, body-colored grille, integrated fog lights, 8-way power adjustable front seats and automatic temperature control. The second generation models had 4-speed 42LE automatic transmission. Second generation Chrysler LHS models were based on LH platform along with mid-level “Touring” suspension similar to “L” models of BMW, Mercedes. LHS also featured “Performance” setting as available in Dodge Intrepid and Eagle Vision.

The production of Chrysler LHS was dropped after the 1997 model year. It was again redesigned in the year 1999 and second generation LHS appeared in the market. The second generation Chrysler LHS occupied its position as a high-end car. However the interiors provided much less space as compared to slightly longer nosed Concorde. The second-generation LHS and the Concorde differed in terms of their fascias and equipment levels. The Chrysler LHS second generation cars were intended to give stiff competition to Eagle Vision replacement and the Chrysler 300M.

The second generation LHS was equipped with 3.5 L EGJ V6 engines, four speed 42LE automatic transmission and 113.0 inch/2,870 mm wheelbase. The layout was similar to Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler 300M and Chrysler Concorde. The production of Chrysler LHS was quietly removed from the line in 2002. During the year 2002, Chrysler slowly dropped the LHS from its lineup. The new 2002-2004 Concorde was designed with the LHS’s front and rear fascia styling, yet because the LHS interior differed quite a bit from the Concorde. The 2002-2004 Concorde LX maintained identical interior to save costs and used the1998-2001 Concorde already in production.

At present the used engines of first and second generation Chrysler LHS are available at online stores with affordable prices. LHS motors can be a superior alternative for your vehicle if used with due care and proper treatment. Used LHS engines for sale from different dealers are found at the ASAP Motors website.
